Abalone Shell Dish
These stunning shells are called Abalone Sea Shells. The sea molluscs grow in the Southern Hemisphere and they are farmed for their meat, but these beautiful shells are usually discarded. We are firm believers in living with as little waste as possible, so using these by-products of the seafood industry as pretty dishes for our products was a no-brainer!
They are strong shells with small holes perfect for drainage. The inside of the shell is a beautiful iridescent mother-of-pearl, but being smooth it's really easy to keep clean. They are around 12cm x 10cm so perfect to hold any of our unwrapped products.
