Why do I need a shower bar that’s moisturising?
Because being outdoors strips moisture from your skin.
Saltwater, wind, sun, and sweat all compromise your skin's natural barrier. If your cleanser doesn’t replenish what’s lost, you’re constantly playing catch-up.
Our bars cleanse properly, then restore moisture at the same time — so your skin feels reset, not tight.
Are all shower bars and soaps moisturising?
All our shower bars are! But most aren't — and many find that, although they clean effectively, they actually dry out their skin meaning you also need a body cream or similar.
If you prioritise natural ingredients, does that make them less effective?
No.
We don’t use natural ingredients for marketing purposes — we use them because they work. Every bar is built on a cocoa and shea butter base for hydration, then formulated with targeted plant actives to exfoliate, cleanse deeply, or reset skin after sweat and SPF.
Effective doesn’t have to mean synthetic.
Why don’t you use artificial scents — and how long does the scent last?
We avoid synthetic fragrance like SLS and parabens because they often prioritises intensity over skin comfort and can be harmful to you and the environment.
Our bars are scented only with essential oils. You’ll notice a clean, grounded scent in the shower and lightly on your skin afterwards — without the overpowering, all-day artificial linger.
How long do the shower bars last?
Our full-size shower bars last an estimated 50 showers — the half-size shower bars in the Explorer Set last around 25 showers each.
Do they go soft or mushy?
Not if you let them dry between uses.
Like any solid bar, they’ll soften if left sitting in water. Keep them on a draining dish and they stay firm and long-lasting.
Will it irritate my skin?
Our formulas are designed to support your natural skin barrier — not disrupt it. We leave out synthetic fragrance and unnecessary additives that commonly cause irritation.
If you have highly reactive skin, patch test first, but most customers find them comfortable for everyday use. Alternatively, you could try our Naked range which are unscented and contain no known allergens.
