BTS | Our Shower Bar Making Process

At WiDEYE, we're proud to say that all our bars are made at our production unit in Rye Harbour, where we've got a fantastic team of passionate makers who put it all in to making some of the best bars our there (if we say so ourselves) - Here are some of the main things you need to know.

Traditional Cold-Process Method

We keep it classic. Our soap is made using the traditional cold-process method, ensuring all the goodness of pure essential oils is locked in for a potent, natural scent that skips all the harsh synthetics you find on most supermarket shelves. It also also allows us to add in plenty of nourishing oils & butters, making our bars ultra nourishing.

Made in small batches in our dedicated shower bar room

This is where it all happens - over the years we've grown to the point where we have dedicated rooms for key products. Our shower bars are made in small batches by a small team of two specialists.

Hand cut, then cured to perfection

After removing each batch from the molds, the soap goes off to cure. Think of it like a sun-dried tomato steadily getting more flavoursome. Once ready, the bars become more solid, lasting longer. The process also makes them less harsh on your skin.

Packed and shipped straight out of Rye Harbour

Once cured and ready, your soap hops into a box and ships out straight from our warehouse, ensuring maximum freshness and a swift delivery.

  • I discovered Wideye by chance. I purchased a box of ten small soaps for a friend. She was so impressed she purchased six of the larger individual soaps for herself and friends. I have now purchased three more sets of boxed soap plus larger bars. They are ideal for presents and will solve quite a few Christmas gift ideas. I might even treat myself!
I cannot recommend these products more highly!
