From the sea to the shower: Swim Brighton

What does a shower bar have to do with a sea swim?

More than you might think.

Last weekend, we headed down to Swim Brighton for our second sponsored event.

How it started

The team at Swim Brighton reached out to us after discovering our Spindrift shower bar and loving what it stood for — a bar inspired by long days in the sea and made for people who care about the future of our oceans.

Spindrift was made for post-swim care, with its blend of super-fatted cocoa and shea butter helping to restore moisture after time spent in the sea. So when we were asked to get involved, we knew it was the perfect product to share with swimmers after their swim.

But it’s not just about a better shower.

Inspired by our love for the ocean, 25% of sales from our Spindrift shower bar are donated to Surfers Against Sewage —  an environmental charity campaigning to protect our oceans.

With Swim Brighton bringing together a community of people who love the sea, it felt like the perfect place to share Spindrift.

The day itself

We spent the day down on Brighton beach, meeting swimmers and chatting about their daily routines and their love for open-water swimming.
With the heat adding an extra challenge, the swim wasn't easy. But it was brilliant to see everyone, from first-time open-water swimmers to regular sea swimmers, get stuck in.

Thank you

Thank you to the Swim Brighton team for inviting us to be part of the day, and to everyone who stopped by to say hello, we loved meeting you all.

Here are some snaps from the day 🌊
