Shower Bars 2.0 Are On Their Way!

We’ve been meaning to tell you this for a while. Over the last year, we’ve had so many messages about our shower bars. Usually starting with: “I love them, but…” And we love those messages as it drives us to make our products better.

Our products are meant to be low maintenance. The kind you grab after a salty swim, or after your face is a bit tight from that cold coastal wind. They’re not meant to create extra fuss in your shower. So we’ve tweaked a few things.

First up, they’re bigger

The current bars are 100g. We won’t tell you the new size just yet… but if you’ve ever thought, “I wish this lasted just a bit longer,” you’re going to like this.

We’ve also taken the botanical bits out

Some people loved them. A few of you told us they were ending up in the drain which doesn’t feel very low maintenance. And if something makes a product feel less simple? It probably doesn’t belong there. So they’re gone. The same scents you love. Same skin benefits. Just less fuss.

Behind the scenes

Our production process has had an upgrade. We’ve invested in new shower bar molds, which has a surprising impact on the bars themselves. So far, our initial tests have shown that the bars last longer and are even creamier, making for an even better shower experience.

Instead of pouring our soap mixture in to small molds that hold around 10 bars, we pour it in to a much larger mold, which helps the soap cure more effectively.

When do the new bars drop?

We’ve just finished making the first few batches, and will soon be rolling out some product feedback rounds incase we need to make any tweaks. But you should expect to see them going live sometime towards the middle of April.
