Exploring North Cornwall: finding the best beaches for soap photography
Jun 30, 2026
Last week, Sam and I each packed up a bag full of soap and headed to North Cornwall to find the perfect backdrop for some new product images.
The alarm was set for 5:30am so we could catch the early light and avoid the crowds. If you can’t tell, we take soap photography very seriously.
It’s also a pretty good excuse to be outside all day, especially in this lovely weather. We moved between beaches, stopping whenever the light looked right or when we saw a cool rock formation.
The beaches we visited were; Mawgan Porth, Holywell Bay and Perranporth.
Here’s a selection of our favourite images:

We need your help.

All pictures are great, but the framing on # 1 and #6 natural scene impact place your brand in a heavy hitter category! Keep up the good work, love your products and can’t wait to see what else you guys come up with product wise in the future!
I like 3&5. 3 because it shows several products . 5 because it reminds me of the stone piles our family make on the beach. Mother Ivey is a favourite beach
