Exploring North Cornwall: finding the best beaches for soap photography
Jun 30, 2026
Last week, Sam and I each packed up a bag full of soap and headed to North Cornwall to find the perfect backdrop for some new product images.
The alarm was set for 5:30am so we could catch the early light and avoid the crowds. If you can’t tell, we take soap photography very seriously.
It’s also a pretty good excuse to be outside all day, especially in this lovely weather. We moved between beaches, stopping whenever the light looked right or when we saw a cool rock formation.
The beaches we visited were; Mawgan Porth, Holywell Bay and Perranporth.
Here’s a selection of our favourite images:

We need your help.

I think image 6 is the best one love all your soaps gorgeous smells all of them
Number 6! Very Cornish 🥰
Have you tried the beach at Fairlight? It’s a bit of a climb down through the Country Park but it’s beautiful and on your doorstep (and mine!) Lxx
All the images are really cool, I’m always drawn to the pictures with the sea in them, and I think No.6 is my favourite because of the reflection.
