Our home on the South Coast
At WiDEYE, the outdoors isn’t a backdrop — it’s where we’d rather spend our days. Based in Rye Harbour, we’re all about coastal walks, cold-water swims, and generally making the most of living and working by the sea.
Surfers Against Sewage is a charity working with communities to protect oceans, waves, beaches and marine life in the UK — a cause that means a lot to us as individuals and as a company.
About Surfers Against Sewage
Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is an environmental charity based in Cornwall. It was founded in 1990 by a group of surfers who were sick of getting sick from sewage on the north coast. What began as a local fight has grown into a nationwide movement to protect and reclaim the UK’s wild waters from polluters, focusing on tackling sewage and plastic pollution.
How WiDEYE supports SAS
WiDEYE has committed to donating 25% of revenue from two flagship products to Surfers Against Sewage.
Every purchase helps make our coasts and waterways cleaner, safer, and better for everyone to enjoy.

"Based in Rye on England’s South Coast, life by the sea is part of who we are. Many of our team spend their free time surfing, swimming and exploring the coastline, so healthy oceans aren’t just something we care about — they’re something we rely on.
We’re proud to support Surfers Against Sewage and the work they do to protect the UK’s coastlines, waterways, and oceans."
